Communication is a two-way street and it is just as important to hear somebody clearly as it is to be heard. I understand that when most people go shopping for a gaming headset, they always want to know how it handles music as well as video games. I don't understand why very few ask if the microphone is any good. Perhaps the rationale is that you spend more time listening through it than using the microphone, although I know a few friends who have regretted their gaming headset purchase decision once they realize that nobody on the team can understand what they are saying.
