Terrible XP Install Process!

I just about pulled off my nads with installing xp tonight. Blimey! I had to sit through the whole install because my WD USB drive kept replacing the Bluray drive assignment letter everytime windows wanted to access the install cd. every two seconds. I had to keep telling where the files were on the cd which asked for it!
